Two bits of unrelated news:
- DjVu, the document viewer in our online catalog MARS, is having some technical issues today. Our programmer hopes to have it fixed by Monday. The majority of the catalog is unaffected – you can still do searches using Basic Search, Advanced Search, and Search by Call Number to locate materials in our collections. The only things affected are items with attached images, which is a very small number of records within MARS. On the plus side, our programmer updated the catalog yesterday so it now includes all indexing work done by Archives and Records staff during December 2010, as well as January 2011 through the early part of this month.
- Some of the links to items in our Newspaper Project collection within CONTENTdm are broken. We’ve already alerted OCLC, the company that manages CONTENTdm, to the issue. I’m sorry that I don’t have an ETA on when that will be fixed.
We’re sorry for any inconveniences these problems may have caused our researches and hope to have these issues resolved as soon as possible.
