I have two bits of news to pass along from the North Carolina State Archives today:
First, our Non-Textual Materials Unit has added some great postcards of Asheville, N.C. to our Flickr account, so do go take a look if you get a chance.
Second, from our Facebook page:
“In news from Collections Management, four volumes from Tryon County will soon be ready for use in the Search Room. The Friends of the Archives funded the extensive conservation work needed to make these rare volumes ready for public use. They are an execution docket (1772-1780), land entry volume (1795-1797), a crown docket (1770-1779), and another execution docket (1771-1772, 1778).”
